Setup
- Once installed navigate to the application and open MobileIRESS.
- From the menu select "Connection" to configure your login details.
- Using the space bar to tick checkboxes and the scroll wheel to navigate, fill out
your login details.
-Tick "Remember login" for these details to be stored.
-Tick "Autologin" to have MobileIRESS automatically connect and login next time
the application is opened.
-Tick "Always Prompt Forced Logoff" to have MobileIRESS prompt every time it attempts to
logoff an existing IRESS session in order to free up a license for the MobileIRESS login.
- Select a transport option, for more details see transport
options.
- Click "Apply"
- The first time the application attempts connection a dialog box will appear prompting
you to allow connection. Make sure you tick "allow this connection" or else you
won't be able to connect to the server. If you accidentally disallowed the connection
see the troubleshooting section for how to fix
this problem. You should see the data arrows flashing at the top of the screen.
- If you do not have automatic login checked on, to login manually from the menu
select "Login".
Uninstall
- Go to Options -> Applications. Select MobileIRESS, =and select "delete" from
the context menu.
